Taylor Swift regains control of her music with a huge victory

 

Taylor Swift finally broke her silence and revealed the news that her fans had been waiting for.

On Friday, May 30, the 35-year-old pop sensation came to Instagram and published a photo of herself with all of her previously recorded albums, captioned "You belong with me".

The 14-time Grammy winner also hinted to a huge news, adding "letter on my site:)" at the conclusion of her remark.

The letter announced that Swift had purchased her masters back from Shamrock Capital, who had acquired them following the Scooter Braun controversy.

"I now own all of the music I've ever created. Swift opened her letter with, "I've been bursting into tears of joy... ever since I found out this is actually happening."

"I really get to speak these words: all of the music I've ever created... now belongs... to me. And all of my music videos. All concert films. Album artwork and photographs. Unreleased tracks. The recollections. The magic. The craziness. Every single era. My entire life's work," he concluded in an impassioned message.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker went on to say that this is her proudest achievement in life, and she thanked her fans for helping her realize her ambition.
