The business recently disclosed that the Ace 5 Ultra and Racing Edition models would be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 series chipsets and ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will include a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 main rear sensor, the firm announced in a Weibo post. The handset's camera configuration is advertised as offering "shadowless capture (translated from Chinese)," implying shots with less motion blur and more clarity. It will also support the Live Photos feature.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will have a 6.83-inch flat 1.5K (1,272×2,800 pixels) display with 144Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision compatibility, according to a Weibo post by the company. The screen will include "hardware-level" reduced blue light and TÜV Rheinland Eye Protection 4.0 certification.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will include a 6,700mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and bypass charging capabilities. The device will include a "glacier cooling system" to dissipate heat. It will be available with 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage options. The phone will be available in three colors: Breeze Blue, Burning Titanium, and Phantom Black.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition devices will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ and 9400e chipsets, respectively. The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 15 and ColorOS 15. They will debut in China on May 27 at 2:30pm local time (12pm IST).
