The real reason Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce skipped the 2025 Met Gala has been exposed.
On Monday, an insider told TMZ that the pair did receive an invitation to the star-studded event, but they had to reject due to business commitments.
Taylor and Travis have been enjoying some relaxation since the Eras tour and NFL season ended.
"They have been traveling nonstop and are very much enjoying it," a source told People magazine in April.
"They're making the most of their free time together. They're also hanging out with their mates. "It's a special time for them," the person explained.
The insider said that the actors are "very serious and in sync." They share the same values. Right now, the emphasis is on quiet time away from the limelight.
For those who are unaware, the music phenomenon, who started dating the NFL player in 2023, has not attended the Met Gala since 2016.
