Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz declined to attend the Met Gala in honor of his father, David Beckham.
According to reports, the pair chose to go to the UK for the former footballer's 50th birthday rather than attend fashion's biggest night in New York on Monday.
However, despite being in town, Brooklyn, 26, did not attend his father's milestone birthday because he believed his wife, Nicola, 30, was being blamed for the family divide.
"They canceled their plans to go the Met because they really wanted to be at David's party on Saturday. But Brooklyn is extremely furious that the blame for the schism has been placed on Nicola," a source told The Sun.
"She has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive — she's a loyal wife," the insider said.
Brooklyn and Nicola also failed to pay David any homage online, while noting other personal anniversaries such as their third wedding anniversary and a farewell to Nicola's late grandmothers.
According to a TMZ insider, Brooklyn and Nicola requested that the party be kept quiet in order to avoid Romeo's girlfriend Kim Turnball, with whom they are mostly feuding due to their dislike for her.
However, the charges were incorrect because the married pair could have attended the family party in the Cotswolds last Wednesday, even though Romeo's girlfriend did not go.
Brooklyn also missed David's first festivities in Miami last month, as well as events in the Cotswolds, France, and London this week.
