Users may see their account status by navigating to Settings > Account > Account Status.
According to the Meta-owned platform, there are four actions that may be performed on any post or profile: deleted content, what cannot be suggested, content decreased in feed, and features you cannot use. This implies that Threads may not only delete information, but also prevent it from being suggested, reduce the visibility of a post or profile, and even limit some of the services accessible to users.
If the user believes the moderation process made a mistake, they can seek a review of the post or profile. It will notify the user after the submitted report has been examined. According to the corporation, its community standards apply to everyone throughout the world and to all forms of material, including AI-generated content.
It underlines that, while freedom of expression is important, it can be limited in order to protect authenticity, dignity, privacy, and safety. If the content is in the public interest or noteworthy, the microblogging platform may accept it, even if it violates community guidelines. This is accomplished by evaluating its benefit against the danger of damage, with international human rights norms in mind. Meanwhile, it may delete items with unclear or implicit language if further context is supplied.
