Tom Cruise shared how he prepares for his Mission: Impossible exploits.
Speaking at the London premiere of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Cruise revealed that his stunts take "decades" to plan.
The performer responded: "I have to tell you, look, it takes years, decades to be able to prepare for something because I've been flying aeroplanes and studying aerial photography for decades."
"I learn while filming something. "I learn a little bit and try to expand on that knowledge," Cruise said. "So, my aerial sequence dates back 40 years, and I currently fly aerobatics. I operate aerobatic jets and helicopters. "I fly anything.
Cruise went on to say that he studies skills and then applies them in film, saying, "So it's also just understanding the airplane, the camera, what type of cameras do we have? How would the airplane react with the camera? How am I going to generate motion in space that will elicit an emotional response from the viewer."
Cruise went on to say that he wants fans to not just "watch" the film, but also connect emotionally.
"So that's a lot of physical, mental, but a lot of other things, technical things, that go into developing something like this," Cruise told the crowd.
Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is set to hit theaters on May 21, 2025 in the United Kingdom.
