Tom Parker Bowles has revealed a dish from his mother, Queen Camilla, which he thoroughly enjoys.
In his book, Cooking & The Crown, Tom praised his mother's chicken broth recipe and offered the ingredients.
"In the winter, carrots, thinly sliced cabbage, and potatoes serve as ballast, while in the spring and summer, broad beans, peas, spinach, and runner beans do. But feel free to add whatever you like, from chopped artichoke hearts to asparagus, swede, watercress, and green beans.
In addition to Tom's recipe, Helen Bell, a nutrition expert at Help & Advice, shows the Queen's dish is quite healthful.
Speaking to the Express, she stated: "The
The ingredient list for [the] chicken broth is extremely strong and diversified, which can help to provide a well-rounded flavor profile and nutritional value.
"Spinach is well known for its possible advantages in treating high blood pressure. It contains nitrates, which can help widen blood arteries, increase blood flow, and lower blood pressure. I frequently propose integrating spinach into meals for people who want to naturally regulate their blood pressure.
Aside from that, spinach is a nutritional powerhouse, including vitamins A, C, and K, as well as iron and calcium. Its antioxidant characteristics make it good for your general health and well-being," she explained.
