Taylor Swift's surprise photo went viral, as she appeared to be joining Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the Wicked sequel.
The 35-year-old pop sensation was spotted as Dorothy in the highly anticipated Wicked: For Good.
"First look at Dorothy, who will be played by Taylor Swift in WICKED: FOR GOOD," Pop Base tweeted from their official X account, attaching a photo of Swift donning Dorothy's twin braids in a blue checkered frock.

Swifties flew into a frenzy as soon as the photo was shared, but it turned out to be an AI-generated image.
"OMG, Taylor Swift is Dorothy?! This is huge! I'm so delighted that I can hardly control myself! "That's such a fantastic casting choice," remarked one enthusiast.
