The Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro are set to launch in China next month. While we wait for the official announcement, the company has announced that the next Realme GT 8 Pro will include a swappable camera module. This design allows customers to personalise the phone's back camera design. Furthermore, the vanilla Realme GT 8 has purportedly emerged on the prominent testing website Geekbench, providing some information about its main specs.
Realme GT 8 Pro's Design (Expected)
Realme has confirmed in recent Weibo posts that the Realme GT 8 Pro will include a removable back camera module that can be swapped or repositioned. The brand's teaser film features three different camera module designs. These are round, square, and irregular robotics-inspired shapes. Users will be able to detach and rearrange these modules, providing a unique level of customization.
The business has yet to share detailed data about the Realme GT 8 Pro's rear camera sensors. However, it is expected to include a triple back camera setup, including a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The Realme GT 8 Pro will be equipped with the recently introduced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU, R1 graphics chip, and twin symmetrical speakers. It will include a BOE display with a 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
Realme GT 8 Specs (Expected)
Meanwhile, the regular Realme GT 8 has purportedly been discovered on the Geekbench database (via Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd) under the model number RMX6699. According to the ad, the device runs Android 16 and has 16GB of RAM. It received 2,825 and 8,840 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively.

The Realme GT 8 is set to go official in China in October, with the Realme GT 8. While no precise release date has been revealed, Francis Wong, Realme's Head of Product Marketing, recently confirmed that the Pro model will be launched in India shortly.
