On October 27, the OnePlus Ace 6 and flagship OnePlus 15 will both debut in China. The phone was just put up for sale on Oppo's Chinese online shop. Pre-orders for the phone have now opened nationwide. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has also hinted at the OnePlus Ace 6's forthcoming CPU and cameras. With the OnePlus 15R moniker, its international version may make its debut. The phone will come in three color options: Quicksilver, Flash White, and Black (which is Chinese for "black").
Pre-orders for the OnePlus Ace 6 start in China
Days before its October 27 launch, the OnePlus Ace 6 is already pre-ordered in China. The phone was previously advertised on the nation's Oppo online shop. However, a "Book an appointment" option (translated from Chinese) has already been added to the landing page. This occurs soon after last week's start of the flagship OnePlus 15 pre-orders.
On top of this, the company has revealed various specifications of the upcoming phone on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from the previous year, together with a new "Wind Chip Gaming Core" (derived from Chinese), will power the OnePlus Ace 6. For further protection, it will have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The phone is rumored to have two cameras on the back, with the 50-megapixel main camera taking center stage. ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16, will be included with the Chinese version. The OnePlus Ace 6 will include a Glacier Cooling System to preserve the thermals. Additionally, according to the business, the phone will have dust and water resistance ratings of IP66+ IP68 + IP69 + IP69K. It will weigh around 213g and have a metal frame.
It has been announced that the OnePlus Ace 6 will have a 7,800mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. Interestingly, a lesser 7,300mAh battery will be included in the premium OnePlus 15. Additionally, an X-axis linear vibration motor will be included with the OnePlus Ace 6. It will also support infrared blasters and NFC. Like the OnePlus 15, it will include a 1.5K BOE OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
