'Every Brilliant Thing' brings Daniel Radcliffe, star of "Harry Potter," back to Broadway
"Accio Daniel Radcliffe," according to Broadway. (In the Harry Potter universe, Accio is the Summoning Charm, a spell that magically calls an object near the caster.)
In Every Brilliant Thing, the Harry Potter star will make a comeback on Broadway.
He will co-star alongside Jonny Donahoe in the debut of Duncan Macmillan's critically praised solo piece.
The Hudson Theatre will start previews on February 21, 2026, and the opening night is set for March 12. The engagement, which is strictly restricted, ends on May 24.
The play, which was directed by Jeremy Herrin and Macmillan, centers on a guy who enumerates "every brilliant thing" that makes life worthwhile. He remembers with nostalgia the numerous little pleasures that sustained him.
After two years, Radcliffe will return to the stage for the one-person show, which has been presented in over 80 countries.
The highly regarded 2023 revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along was the Tony Award winner's most recent Broadway appearance.
Radcliffe received his first Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for the production, which also included Lindsay Mendez and Jonathan Groff.
Notably, the 36-year-old beauty will have her sixth Broadway role in Every Brilliant Thing.
Prior to acting in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2011), The Cripple of Inishmaan (2014), and The Lifespan of a Fact and Privacy (2018), the actor made his film debut opposite the late Richard Griffiths in 2008's Equus.
Radcliffe has starred opposite Alan Cumming in the West End productions of Endgame and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
