According to a source, the Oppo Reno 15 series, which is anticipated to launch as the replacement for the Reno 14 range, may have three phones—one more than the Reno 14 and the Reno 14 Pro from the previous year. Additionally, the regular model can be available with a 6.32-inch 1.5K flat screen and a smaller form factor. Online reports have also revealed other important details about the Oppo Reno 15 series, including as the chipset, camera setup, IP ratings, and battery.
Features and specifications of the Oppo Reno 15 Series (expected)
The main features of two smartphones with the names "R15" and "R15P" have been made public by Tipster Digital Chat Station (which is translated from Chinese). It is anticipated that the two phones would launch as the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max and the Oppo Reno 15. If this is accurate, the normal Reno 15 and the Reno 15 Pro Max will be part of the next lineup. It's interesting to note that the basic model is said to have a small form factor, in contrast to its predecessor.
The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max and Reno 15 may have 1.5K flat screens measuring 6.78 and 6.32 inches, respectively. Both phones may come with a metal frame, but the Pro Max variant is anticipated to include a glass body as well. They may be shipped with water and dust resistance ratings of IP68 and IP69. A MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor may power the alleged Oppo Reno 15 series phones.
In contrast, it was originally predicted that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and a 6,500mAh battery will power the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max and Reno 15 may have three back cameras, with the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP5 main camera taking center stage. Additionally, 50-megapixel periscope and ultrawide cameras are reportedly included in the phones. Rumor has claimed that the phones will include 50-megapixel selfie cameras on the front. 50W wireless charging may also be supported by the Pro Max model.
A variant with a 6.59-inch display is also expected to be introduced by the business in the Oppo Reno 15 portfolio; it may be placed in between the Pro Max and the regular versions.
