Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, has been attempting to maintain a low profile in recent weeks due to the escalating problems surrounding her parents.
In order to minimize media attention, Beatrice and her sister Eugenie even skipped a high-profile event last weekend, only one day after Andrew said that he was relinquishing his royal titles and honor following consultation with the royal family.
As the family's problems worsen, the 37-year-old, who gave birth to her second daughter, Athena, earlier this month with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, is now alone in the UK with their three-year-old daughter, Sienna.
Edo, an Italian aristocrat and real estate developer who was born in England, must travel regularly for work. The businessman left the UK for Malaysia to handle what seems to be a business concern because of the intense attention surrounding his father-in-law's humiliation.
He posted an image of Kuala Lumpur's skyline on Wednesday, showcasing the Exchange 106 skyscraper in the Tun Razak Exchange sector. There was no caption added by the property developer to explain the reason or length of the journey.
Last week, Beatrice and her spouse were spotted in London on consecutive evenings, attending the Art of Wishes Gala hosted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the Chancery Rosewood Hotel in Grosvenor Square.
They arrived the next day to commemorate the hotel's grand inauguration. The pair seemed happy and unconcerned with the commotion around Andrew and Fergie in the headlines on both outings.
With the release of his accuser Virginia Giuffre's postmortem biography this week and the discovery of even more devastating charges, the rumors surrounding Andrew are still rife. Since the storm doesn't appear to be abating anytime soon, it appears that now is the time to stick together.
