The necessity of carrying a physical car key with you everywhere may be eliminated as a result. Nearly a year has passed since the Indian automaker debuted its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric car models in the nation.

The Samsung Wallet app for Indian customers will soon include the South Korean tech giant's Digital Car Key function. Some Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs in the nation will be the first to support this capability. During an event in Bengaluru, Samsung showcased the Mahindra BE 6's Digital Car Key capability.The Digital Car Key feature of the Samsung Wallet software will enable customers to start their Mahindra eSUVs with a linked Galaxy mobile in addition to locking and unlocking them. Additionally, the feature will enable customers to temporarily share their EV's Digital Car Key with friends and relatives. The Samsung Wallet app allows you to control who has access to the car.
Using the Samsung Find service, the tech giant will also allow customers to remotely lock their phones, erase their data, and retrieve the Digital Car Key in the event that the Galaxy device containing it is lost or stolen. Biometric or PIN-based user authentication will be supported by the Samsung Wallet for security reasons. This can prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing their Mahindra eSUV and the associated digital key.
According to a source, the Samsung Wallet app was recently modified to provide real-time travel, rail, and event activity. It is demonstrated to present information on the phone's lock screen and always-on display. Additionally, users have the option to pin the status and the time to the top of the screen.
