Kate Middleton is reportedly taking her new royal duties more seriously as the Princess of Wales recruited a new secretary who is believed to be a "very straight-talker".
According to rumours, Alison Corfield, a public relations expert, has joined the Kensington Palace staff.
She formerly worked as Jamie Oliver's head of campaigns and oversaw the marketing strategy for the chef's project to increase school food instruction.
An individual who has worked with Alison revealed to The Sunday Times that "she's a ball-breaker, a true straight-talker."
Alison is "extremely passionate, vibrant, and really humorous," according to the insider. She makes things happen and will be a driving force at the Palace."
Meanwhile, a royal insider believes Kate's new aide will "change things up" at the palace.
Alison is an exception. She's a little out there for Kensington Palace, but there's a push to hire more modernizers and individuals with business sector expertise, rather than merely government officials.
"She'll run circles around the courtiers and spice things up a little," said the source.
