Despite earlier allegations that they were at odds over the subject, King Charles and Prince William are claimed to be 'working together' to plan for Prince Harry to visit the UK for Charles' historic coronation in May.
Earlier this week, several royal sources reported that the King and his eldest son, the Prince of Wales, were struggling to reach an agreement on whether to invite Harry to the coronation; according to sources, Charles wants his younger son present, while William believes his brother should not be there.
However, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams believes that Charles and William may be working together to solve the dilemma.
"According to reports, William's understandable rage at the Sussexes discoveries is at odds with Charles' wish, as monarch, for a display of unity when he is crowned..."
"However, I would be amazed if they weren't working together to guarantee that if the Sussexes do arrive — and we have no idea whether they will — they are controlled," Fitzwilliam continued.
"This worked throughout the Queen's Platinum Jubilee festivities as well as at the Queen's burial," he added.
It's worth noting that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the UK in June 2022 to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee, and then again in September 2022, after she died.
