'Happy birthday, Daddy Schwarzenegger! We love you!' she exclaimed in the caption of the shot, which appears to have been taken in Katharine's late adolescence.
The veteran Hollywood leading actor and former California resident can be seen snuggling with his daughter in a field near to basketball courts, clothed in a dark blue suit with a white dress shirt and tie.
When she used the term 'we' to express her affection, she was most likely referring to her growing family, which includes husband Chris Pratt and daughters Lyla, who turns three in August, and Eloise, who is one.
In addition to Katherine, the Terminator star is the happy father of Christina, 32, and sons Patrick, 29 and Christopher, 25, whom he shares with his ex-wife.
