Following the success of A Quiet Place Part II in February 2022, Emily Blunt recently offered an update on the prospective third episode of the A Quiet Place franchise.
A third installment, slated for release in 2025, has already been approved by Paramount. Blunt has now confirmed that talks regarding the tale are in the works, but she has one condition for her return to the world.
Blunt stated in a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast that she is interested in resuming her part in A Quiet Place Part III only if "John Krasinski returns as the director" and "Cillian Murphy joins as her co-star" once more.
Blunt emphasised the importance of retaining the core staff that was instrumental in the series' success.
Blunt expressed her opinions on the rooftop with John and Cillian, adding, "I think it would have to be that we all do it together, I don't want it to be a different director if we did it again."
John Krasinski's role in the trilogy goes beyond performing; he directed the first film and contributed considerably to its writing. He returned as director in the sequel, concentrating on the beginning moments as Blunt's character grabbed the spotlight. The sequel expanded on Blunt's character's journey and introduced Cillian Murphy's role.
The third episode has been officially announced by John Krasinski and Paramount Pictures. Although the return of Emily Blunt is questionable at this time, the studio is committed to continuing the franchise's great trajectory.
