Brad Pitt and George Clooney recently gave a lighthearted look at their high-profile lifestyles, admitting that their stardom frequently keeps them out of the hospital.
In an interview with GQ published on Tuesday, the 60-year-old Bullet Train actor and ER veteran acknowledged the difficulties of living in the spotlight.
Pitt and Clooney, who originally collaborated on the classic Ocean's Eleven more than two decades ago, are slated to feature together in the new Apple TV+ action comedy Wolfs, which premieres September 27.
During their conversation, Clooney discussed the challenge of preserving privacy despite their celebrity position.
"A lot of people, even those who reach a fairly high level of fame, manage to live a somewhat normal life," he told me.
"They can walk around New York without being followed and things like that."
However, he confessed, "There are five or six of us where it's just never subsided."
Both actors joked about their celebrity status, saying that their renown complicates hospital trips and that they may have to treat any major injuries themselves.
The ER star revealed that his main purpose is to safeguard his family, saying, "I don't want images of my kids.
We deal with extremely severe issues and very serious bad folks, and we don't want images of our children out there."
They confessed that being private is 'tricky' because of their celebrity.
