Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, has kept her only daughter, Lady Louise, out of the spotlight for a reason.
A public relations specialist claims that the Duchess of Edinburgh ensured her daughter had a "different childhood" than her relatives Prince William and Prince Harry.
The 20-year-old, who was reared without a royal title, spent much of her life away from the spotlight. This contrasted starkly with her cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who were reared with HRH titles despite not being working royals in the future.
A public relations professional provided this clarification: "Unlike her cousins Prince William and Prince Harry, Lady Louise is not a direct heir to the throne, which affords her more privacy."
"Lady Louise's parents have made efforts to keep her out of the spotlight, allowing her to have a more normal upbringing," Karolina Króliczek, CEO of a London-based digital marketing consultancy, told GB News.
Sophie, 59, previously stated why she reared Louise and James, Earl of Wessex, without royal titles, stating, "We try to raise them with the understanding that they will most likely have to work for a living."
"Therefore, we decided not to utilize HRH titles. They have them and can elect to utilize them as early as age 18, but I believe this is exceedingly improbable.
In comparison, the Prince of Wales, 42, and the Duke of Sussex, 39, were reared in public with the expectation that they would perform royal responsibilities in the future. William is presently first in line for the throne, while Harry is fifth.
Lady Louise, Prince Edward's daughter, is presently enrolled at the University of St Andrews, where Prince William and Princess Kate studied from 2001 to 2005.
