Halle Berry reflects on her acting career and recounts some of the injuries she's sustained over the years while shooting.
During a promotional video shoot for her new espionage comedy The Union, the Oscar-winning actress and her co-star Mark Wahlberg discussed their views on filming action films.
The Catwoman star said that she had been injured on several occasions.
Berry recounted incidents from the sets of her action flicks, saying, "I've been knocked out three times, broken an arm, and suffered broken ribs twice - two ribs in one incident and three ribs in another."
She said, laughing, "Broke a tailbone, two toes, and a finger - this finger."
The actor, who has witnessed more daring acts, also recalls holding her breath underwater while filming Dark Tide (2012).
The 57-year-old actress elaborated: "I played a free diver. I had to hold my breath for about 2.5 minutes. And it felt like eternity. It seemed as if death was approaching."
Berry admitting to being hurt multiple times on set, but she is still glad to have learned some martial arts techniques.
The Union is scheduled to launch on Netflix on Friday, August 16.
