Prince William and Kate Middleton produced a new video with a moving remark following the death of a pizza vendor.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and earthshotprize collaborated on a film outlining their successes and plans.
The pair captioned the moving video, "This is the real and tangible impact our @earthshotprize Finalists are creating for their communities and the planet."
The announcement continued: "Since the inaugural #EarthshotPrize Awards in London in 2021, we have looked out ground-breaking inventions all throughout the world. Our mission is to identify solutions and expedite their global effect, so that we may repair and restore our planet.
"This is the decade we make a difference - together."
Kate and William also announced plans for the 2024 Earthshot Prize in Cape Town.
Earlier in the day, the pair paid homage to a pizza seller they met on a trip to Wales last year, following his death from cancer at the age of 47.
William and Kate wrote a heartfelt tribute to Peter Morris, the proprietor of the Little Dragon Pizza Van, saying, "I wanted to write to express how terribly sorry Catherine and I were to hear the very sad news about your husband, Pete, and to send you our deepest sympathies."
We can only image the enormous void he will leave in your life, and my heart goes out to you and your family. Catherine and I really loved meeting Pete.
