Travis Kelce may be madly over heals for Taylor Swift, but he will not propose without a "ironclad prenup" in place.
According to a recent Life & Style article, the 34-year-old NFL player and the international music superstar are already discussing the parameters of a prenuptial agreement, but nothing has been finalized.
According to one source, "There's just no way Taylor would walk down the aisle without a prenup."
The insider stated that, while the power couple is on the same page about ensuring their financial futures, their busy schedules and the complications of their large fortune have slowed the process.
"This is a lot further along than either Taylor or Travis would care to admit, since they've considered themselves unofficially engaged for a while and are both 100 percent committed to spending the rest of their lives together and starting a family," a source told me.
Rumours of a potential engagement circulated shortly after their affair began in September of last year.
In December, Page Six reported that the Super Bowl champion asked permission from Swift's father, Scott Swift, to propose, which he was given without reservation.
Just last month, the publication stated that the engagement is "happening soon."
