Prince Harry may not have communicated publicly with King Charles in the previous year, but the Duke of Sussex made an important act of respect for his father.
The Duke of Sussex, who will be attending the Invictus Games alone while Meghan Markle flies back to California, declined a big request that may have upset the royal family.
Harry launched his shocking book, Spare, in 2023, causing significant animosity between the Duke and his father and brother, Prince William.
In a video footage provided by the royal's former colleague, Igor Krystak, a Sports Manager for Team Ukraine during last year's games, Harry appeared hesitant but forceful when requested to sign a copy of Spare in front of cameras.
In the incident, which occurred in Whistler, Igor had requested the king to sign the book for a contribution raffle, but Harry informed him, "Not here."
Harry then approached Igor and told him to "Find me later", adding, "I'm here all week."
In answer, Igor said, "Okay, I'll find you later."
