On Saturday, February 8, Prince Harry took the platform and delivered a remarkable address during the opening ceremony in Vancouver.
The announcement came as the official social media accounts of the Invictus Games, which were launched by the Duke of Sussex in 2014, tweeted highlights from the event.
Prior to the formal start, the players were spotted interacting with the audience and chatting with one another. In the clip released, Harry was shown in great spirits while giving the speech, while Meghan stood behind him but still shared the platform.
"Tonight, we came together to celebrate the incredible Nations participating in the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, presented by ATCO and Boeing, at the Nations Welcome Reception," the title of the picture stated.
"As we embark on this unforgettable journey, we are united by the power of sport, healing, and community." Welcome to Vancouver and Whistler! Let the Games begin!"
The news came after King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted star-studded festivities at their Highgrove home. David Beckham and his wife Victoria, Harry's now-former buddies, were also in attendance and had a pleasant talk during the occasion.
