As the Super Bowl approaches, Travis Kelce is focused on silencing his skeptics, which includes pushing aside distractions like as his well-known drinking habit.
Will Compton, co-host of the famous Bussin' With the Boys podcast, asked Kelce during a press conference on February 6 how he would reply to detractors who suggest that at 35, he has "lost a step."
The NFL player started hitting the platform and said, "That's motivation right there, isn't it?"
Kelce stated, "I've been eating clean and drinking less." "I've lost a few pounds this week. So, perhaps, I can get away from some [Philadelphia] Eagles out there."
Despite being destined for the Hall of Fame, Kelce's recent on-field performance has prompted concerns, particularly after a statistically poor regular season.
Taylor Swift's beau had a career-low three touchdowns and 823 receiving yards, his lowest total yet.
Kelce did, however, show his talent in the Chiefs' AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the Houston Texans on January 18, accumulating an amazing 177 yards and one score.
His euphoria was short-lived, as he only caught two passes for 19 yards in the Chiefs' AFC Championship Game win against the Buffalo Bills on January 26. Furthermore, Kelce was fined $11,000 by the NFL for "unsportsmanlike conduct," heightening the focus of his performance.
Erin Wishon, the Kansas City Chiefs' senior chef, recently told Us Weekly that Travis Kelce has made a concerted effort to take care of his health outside of sports.
Wishon added that Kelce keeps in shape throughout the season with the assistance of his personal chef and boyhood buddy, Kumar Ferguson.
"He's fantastic," Wishon remarked of Ferguson. "He does an excellent job of blending healthful, well-thought-out, and thoroughly nourishing meals. Travis maintains a balance despite the fact that we all believe he spends lavishly.
Wishon said, "I believe people would be amazed how all of the men are extremely, very dedicated and serious. I believe that when it comes to males with larger personalities or who are more visible, people assume they are not focused. However, they have just recently become more refined. They are not complacent about their accomplishment. That is the culture here. It's just what it is.
