Kylie Kelce is already preparing for her girls' teenage years.
In the most recent episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie, the former hockey coach received some helpful parenting advice from actress and singer Kate Hudson as the two mothers discussed their kids.
"Ryder's 21 and I was a young mom with him, so we kind of grew up together," Hudson told me.
"And he's so tuned in, and there was a moment about a year and a half ago when he was like, 'You alright?'" And then he expressed his thoughts about anything in my life based only on my timetable."
"How busy I was, how much I was putting out—just everyday things. When he revealed his views, I realized I had raised my kid to... He's giving back to me right now. He sees me right now. It's quite fantastic, the actress said.
"So if you put the effort in, it does come back," she told me.
In another segment of the show, Hudson advised parents of older children to let go.
"The only other thing I'd recommend to all mothers is to let their children go. Let them go. Do not hold on. "Don't expect anything from them," Hudson explained.
Kelce is the mother of four daughters: freshly born Finnley, Bennett, 2, Elliotte, 4, and Wyatt, 5.
Hudson is the mother of three children: 21-year-old Ryder, 13-year-old Bingham, and 6-year-old Rani.
