King Charles and Queen Camilla will throw a moving event at Buckingham Palace on April 30 to recognize community achievements in cancer care and awareness.
Their Majesties will be joined by visitors who have made significant contributions to cancer relief, as well as the Duchess of Gloucester charity advocates, medical experts, and those who have personally experienced the disease.
According to GB News, special visitors will include broadcaster Adele Roberts, TV personality Ashley Cain, actor Richard E. Grant, and the parents of the late Dame Deborah James, who have all inspired people via their cancer-related campaigning.
Representatives from royal patronages like Macmillan Cancer Support, Breast Cancer Now, Maggie's, and Children's Hospice South West will highlight their community outreach and support services via interactive displays.
The ITV Change+ Check Choir, made up of women who were diagnosed with breast cancer following an ITV1 campaign, will perform throughout the ceremony, adding a poignant touch to it.
The occasion takes place at a particularly sensitive moment for the Royal Family, as both King Charles and Princess Kate are dealing with their own cancer diagnoses.
