King Charles and Queen Camilla will continue the Easter celebrations this year, as the Prince and Princess of Wales will not be there.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that the royal couple would attend the Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Other senior members of the royal family will join Charles and Camilla, with the exception of Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
According to rumors, the Waleses have decided to spend time together as a family before their children's school holiday ends.
Meanwhile, the customary Easter Matins service at Berkshire's 15th-century church is set to be well attended.
The King's presence comes amid health concerns, only weeks after he was abruptly hospitalized due to adverse effects from his cancer treatment.
The Palace stated that the king, who has been getting treatment for a year, has just had a "minor bump in the road" and is still recovering.
Last week, Camilla stated that the King's feeling of duty has motivated him since he "loves his work" and wants to do "more and more and more" as he improves.
Charles had also attended the Easter service previous year with great attention. The King and Queen were sat separately from the rest of the royal family and other participants throughout the service to reduce the danger of infection, as advised by medics.
