Prince William and Kate Middleton have developed a reputation as watchful yet contemporary parents to their three royal children.
While the royal couple has adopted a hands-on approach to raising Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, a significant departure from royal tradition, there is a critical issue at stake.
Even while it is not unusual for parents to be concerned about which good secondary school to send their children to, the Prince and Princess of Wales' selection has a lot of weight because it concerns a future British monarch.
According to royal writer Helena Chard, bookies "initiated a bet on which school Prince George will attend next autumn" amid persistent speculation.
"The ideas have been circulating for years, with the Prince and Princess of Wales apparently battling and discussing the matter for years," Chard said to Fox News Digital."
However, the writer discovered that William and Kate's disputes had a legitimate purpose.
Chard believes there is a logical explanation why William and Kate are supposedly arguing over their decisions.
"There has been a long history of unhappy schooling in the family," she stated. "King Charles was quite unhappy at Gordonstoun. Eton was unsuitable for Prince Harry. Even Princess Catherine was tormented in secondary school.
She went on to say, "As a result, she is determined to find the best fit for Prince George. And, let's be honest, the world is their oyster; kids may choose any school."
