Amanda Holden recently discussed what it's like to go from talent show judging to quiz show presenting for BBC's The Inner Circle.
In an honest interview with The Standard, she acknowledged, "It's not a space I ever considered for myself," but after filming the show's pilot, the star became hooked.
"We made the pilot with a wonderful production crew, and I found myself really enjoying the whole quizzing process," Holden said, adding, "It's a brilliant structure that allows me to interact with the competitors and bring some personality to the screen. "I feel like a cross between Anne Robinson and Alexander Armstrong—quite the combination!"
As she spoke about Anne Robinson, the iconic presenter called "the queen of mean," she stated, "I have a place in the Cotswolds where Anne lives."
"She is the queen, therefore if The Inner Circle is recommissioned, I will absolutely consult her for hosting advice. She's really clever, gossipy, and not nearly as frightening in real life as she appears on television. But I won't tamper with her!" Amanda Holden shouted again.
