The foldable laptop has a flexible OLED screen that may be up to 18 inches in size and 4:3 ratio. It employs LTPO technology, which is said to be the first in a laptop. The Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design is priced in China at CNY 23,999 for the 32GB + 1TB version and CNY 26,999 for the 32GB + 2TB variation. The laptop is presently available for pre-order in the nation through Huawei China's e-store. It will be available starting June 6 in Cloud Water Blue, Forging Shadow Black, and Skyline White (translated from Chinese).
Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design Specifications and Features
The Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design features an 18-inch 3K (3,296×2,472 pixels) double-layer flexible LTPO OLED display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness. The panel also supports HDR10+, is TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3.0 certified, and features a PWM dimming rate of 1,440Hz. The laptop features six speakers and four microphones. It includes an integrated stand and can accommodate both a virtual and a 5mm thin aluminium alloy portable keyboard.
Huawei claims the laptop has a "ultra-thin high-performance folding architecture" and a basalt water drop hinge with a diamond aluminum twin fan. When unfurled, the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design measures 382.5×288.5×7.6 mm, with a 7.3mm profile on the right edge. The foldable laptop weights 1.16 kg.
