A diamond jeweler has just disclosed Kate Middleton's favorite jewelry, as well as that of other royals, and its secret meaning.
This jeweler talked with GB News about the prospective homage Kate may make to the Royal Family at the VE Day (Victory in Europe) ceremonies, which commemorate the unconditional surrender of Germany's forces, together with its allies, during World War II.
The Firm is also scheduled to attend the ceremony on the Queen Victoria Memorial (QVM) outside Buckingham Palace, where a tribute to those who served throughout the war will be made.
Tobias Kormind, managing director and co-founder of 77 Diamond, discussed the available jewelry selections for royal women during the occasion.
"With a wide range of events set to take place to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, we can expect to see a rich variety of significant jewels worn by the senior royal women," he said at the beginning.
"Each chosen item will not only express personal feeling but also pay respect to the lasting spirit of the wartime generation. The VE Day parade, in particular, provides a chance to display a variety of historic brooches, symbolic objects associated with military service, and heirlooms with significant personal and national significance."
He further stated: "For example, Catherine, Princess of Wales, who has been the honorary Colonel-in-Chief of the Irish Guards since 2022, may choose to wear an 18K gold shamrock traditionally loaned to royal women associated with the regiment."
Conversely, "Alternatively, Queen Camilla or the Princess of Wales may opt for the aquamarine and diamond clip brooches gifted to Queen Elizabeth II by her father, King George VI, in 1944."
"The late Queen notably wore these brooches during her televised address marking the 75th anniversary of VE day in 2020."
Overall, "their reappearance would serve as a moving familial tribute, underscoring the deep, historic connections between the Royal Family and the wartime generation," he said, before signing off.
It is also worth noting that the occasion will include a tea party reception at Buckingham Palace for 50 soldiers and citizens who lived through WWII.
