The firm revealed the MSI Claw 8 on Tuesday at Computex 2025. It is the newest addition to the company's portable gaming PC range, which also includes the Claw 8 AI+, which was unveiled at last year's computer exhibition in Taiwan. The MSI Claw 8 is powered by AMD's Ryzen Z2 Extreme CPU and comes with LPDDR5-800 memory. It has an 8-inch full HD+ 120Hz touchscreen. MSI also unveiled the Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition, which now has an enhanced 2TB NVMe SSD storage.

MSI showcased its latest mobile gaming PCs, the Claw 8 and Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition, at the current Computex 2025 exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan.
The MSI Claw 8 is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and comes with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x-8000 dual channel RAM and PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage. It runs on Windows 11 Home and includes an AMD Radeon Graphics GPU. The mobile gaming PC has an 8-inch full HD+ (1,920 x 1,200 pixel) IPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 100 percent sRGB coverage, variable refresh rate (VRR), and 500 nits peak brightness. The business claims that it has twin 2W speakers with DTS Audio Processing.
The MSI Claw 8 has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two USB 4.0 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 and DisplayPort connectivity, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The measurements are 299.5 x 126.2 x 24mm, with a weight of 765g.
The mobile gaming PC also has a six-axis IMU vibration motor for improved haptics and a fingerprint reader for additional fingerprint protection. The MSI Claw 8 is powered by a 6-cell Lithium-Polymer battery rated at 80Wh.
Meanwhile, the MSI Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest version has the identical internals as the normal version but for the storage. It is now available with up to 2TB of NVMe SSD storage. Furthermore, the firm has modified its design, which now features a white finish with a dazzling UV coating.
The business has yet to disclose pricing and availability for either the MSI Claw 8 or the MSI Claw 8 AI+ Tempest Polar Edition mobile gaming PCs, but more information should be available in the coming months.
