That 1989 OG inspired pairings like the "Wet Cement" and "Red Cement," demonstrating how much of an influence the original had on modern releases. The Nike Air Max 90's "Infrared" style remains its strongest, forcing Beaverton designers to maintain it at the heart of future shoes.
The "Evergreen Aura" colorway, which has pure white mesh, light grey suede, and a black leather mudguard, brings back memories of the 1990 do-up. It's not a straightforward palette shift to this arboreal primary color, as the dark grey uppermost eye-stay would suggest, but the everlasting charm of that collector's item shows through with this pine green variation.
As a GR, the Nike Air Max 90 "Evergreen Aura" should be available on Nike.com in the following weeks with little advance notice. Expect a $130 MSRP upon delivery.
