Tom Cruise is making news for his comeback as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.

Cruise seemed upbeat when he attended the finished film's Mexico premiere on Tuesday night.

Cruise appeared on the red carpet alongside his co-stars and director Christopher McQuarrie, dressed in a stylish black suit.

The Hollywood celebrity later took to Instagram to post a collection of images from the event.

Cruise, who is known to have a distant connection with his daughter Suri, stopped and simply said, "Just having fun, man."
