Princess Eugenie delighted royal admirers by presenting a lovely set of never-before-seen family images to commemorate her youngest son Ernest's second birthday.
The Royal went to Instagram on Friday to commemorate the event, releasing a carousel of photos of tiny Ernest alongside his older brother August, four, and father Jack Brooksbank.
The photographs show the young family enjoying ordinary activities such as muddy outdoor excursions and garden fun, as well as sunny holidays and strolls around London.
In one especially delightful photo, Ernest is seen wearing a pair of sunglasses upside down as he explores the city with the curiosity of a child.
Eugenie accompanied the image with a loving message: "Happy Birthday, my beloved Ernie. Today is Day Two! What a wonderful two years it has been. Always smiling, laughing, offering hugs and hellos, and making others happy. "We love you, my golden boy!"
Fans filled the comments with birthday greetings and joy at the rare insight into the royals' everyday family life.
While Ernest and August are members of the Royal Family, the two younger brothers are expected to spend most of their lives away from the spotlight.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have more flexibility to raise their children away from the spotlight.
The pair is thought to be focused on giving Ernest and August a solid, private upbringing away from the stresses of royal duty.
