Queen Camilla is due to make a surprise appearance as a new position is announced in a huge announcement.
King Charles' wife, an enthusiastic reader, is "thrilled" to assume the lead in her favorite author's latest murder mystery, The Hawk Is Dead: A Killer In The Palace.
Camilla will play a key role in the drama series, which is based on the mystery thriller penned by novelist Peter James. The narrative revolves on a crime scene at Buckingham Palace.
Rebecca English, the Daily Mail's royal editor, stated, "Fortunately, no one is likely to be more thrilled to find themselves taking a leading role in their own royal whodunnit than Her Majesty."
It is unclear whether King Charles, who appears in the original text, will make an appearance with his wife.
The Queen had recommended that the novelist, with whom she had developed a connection over the last ten years, put up the setting at the palace.
The scenario, featuring John Simm as the titular detective superintendent in the ITV drama series Grace, will begin with "a cinematic derailment of the Royal Train."
Roy Grace will then be dragged deep into "the heart of Buckingham Palace, where he is called upon to solve a murder and what looks to be a royal assassination attempt."
