On Wednesday, Alienware announced the Area-51 and Aurora PCs in India, powered by the newest Intel Core Ultra processors. The gaming PCs may be outfitted with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 K series CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Notably, the redesigned Area-51 desktop with new CPUs and GPUs was introduced in January at CES 2025. The 2025 Alienware Area-51 16-inch and 18-inch laptops were also introduced.
Price and availability of Alienware Area-51 Desktop and Alienware Aurora in India
In India, the Alienware Area-51 desktop starts at Rs. 5,09,263.22, according to the company's press release. Meanwhile, the Alienware Aurora desktop will cost you around Rs. 1,92,526.44 for the entry-level setup. They are available for purchase in India through the official Dell website, Dell Exclusive Stores, and various retail partner stores like as Croma, Reliance Retail, and Vijay Sales. Gaming desktops are also available through certain multi-brand stores and e-commerce websites.
Notably, the Alienware Area-51 desktop with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU and a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU is priced at Rs. 5,20,199. On the other side, the Alienware Aurora desktop with Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU is priced at Rs. 1,96,698.98.
Alienware Area-51 Desktop Features
The newest Alienware Area-51 desktop has a revamped appearance and enhanced hardware over previous versions. The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU is combined with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 16GB GDDR7 VRAM. It runs Windows 11 Home and has 32GB of DDR5 XMP RAM and a 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen5 SSD.
According to Dell, the new Alienware Area-51 desktop features a specifically designed motherboard with sophisticated heatsinks to assist keep the system cool. The desktop has a new airflow system with larger-diameter fans and various liquid cooling options, which the firm claims allows CPUs to operate up to 13% cooler and 45 percent quieter than prior Alienware desktops.
The Alienware Area-51 desktop features three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connectors and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, two of which enable PowerShare. It also includes four USB 2.0 Type-A connections, one of which supports Smart Power, as well as two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connectors. It has two 3.5mm connectors and an optical S/PDIF output. It also features a single 2.5G RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet connector.
Alienware Aurora Features
The Alienware Aurora 2025 is equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB of NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD storage. It can support up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 16GB GDDR7 VRAM. The chassis has a 240mm liquid cooling system for the CPU, as well as 120mm front and rear fans for better thermal management. It offers comparable networking possibilities to the aforementioned Area-51 variant. The 2025 Aurora is touted to be 55% less in volume than the Alienware Area-51 desktop.
