The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, one of the royal family's most popular couples, recently celebrated a significant milestone in their relationship.
The couple, who share Lady Louise and Earl James, recently celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary, which has raised some alarm following Sophie's latest escapade.
Duchess Sophie, clad in a pastel blue flowery summer dress, walked out on Monday afternoon to visit the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival while Prince Edward was out on an important mission.
Sophie's oval-cut diamond engagement ring, worth $150K, and her gold wedding band went stolen during the expedition. Many fans were startled by the missing accessories, but their concerns were swiftly alleviated.

Sophie wore Giulia Barela's 'Africa' ring instead of her normal rings on an outing last year. She has also removed her rings during the coronavirus outbreak for sanitary concerns.
Following a six-year relationship, Prince Edward proposed to Sophie with the triple diamond ring in January 1999. They married six months later at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
