The second wave of games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass in October has been announced by Microsoft. In the final week of October, the subscription service will launch a number of new titles, including the action-RPG The Outer Worlds 2 from Obsidian Entertainment, the cleaning sim PowerWash Simulator 2, and the action game Bounty Star. As day one launch titles, the three games will be accessible on Game Pass.
October Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 Announced
In an Xbox Wire article on Wednesday, the Xbox parent company revealed the games that will be available on Game Pass in late October and early November. Commandos: Origins and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, two of the previously announced titles, are now accessible on Xbox, Cloud, and PC via Game Pass Premium subscriptions.
PowerWash Simulator 2 and Bounty Star are two day one titles that will be added to Game Pass on October 23. New places and cleaning techniques are included in the follow-up to the independent hit PowerWash Simulator. In contrast, Bounty Star is a 3D mech combat action game that has base construction features. Both titles are available to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate users as of the first day of Game Pass.
On October 24, the roguelite city builder Super Fantasy Kingdom preview will be added to the service. Only members to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate will be able to play the game on PC.
On October 28, the survival roguelite game Halls of Torment will be added to Game Pass's Ultimate, Premium, and PC levels. The Outer Worlds 2, a first-party Xbox game, is released on October 29th, the first service day. A stand-alone follow-up to The Outer Wilds is The Obsidian RPG.
On November 4, two more games will be added to Game Pass: the sci-fi game 1000xResist and Football Manager 26 for PC, Cloud, and Xbox consoles. On November 4, both games will be accessible. While 1000xResist will be available to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass members, FM 26 will be available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass customers as a day one launch title.
Additionally, Microsoft revealed which games would be removed from Game Pass on October 31. These consist of Return to Monkey Island, Metal Slug Tactics, and Jusant.
The business revealed new Xbox Game Pass options and prices earlier this month as part of a revamp of the subscription program. The parent company of Xbox increased Game Pass Ultimate's price by 50% in the US and expanded the service's top tier's selection of titles and perks.
Additionally, Microsoft updated the Game Pass Core and Standard levels with the Essential and Premium subscriptions. In addition to Cloud gaming capability, which was previously exclusive to the Ultimate tier, the two plans provide additional games and Xbox prizes.
