About a month after its Chinese debut, the iQOO 15 is set to make its Indian debut on November 26. The names of the two color variants have now been revealed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Its Snapdragon chipset is reported to be identical to that of the Chinese version. The iQOO 15 will also have a 2K display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz in India. As the launch date approaches, more information is anticipated to be released, including storage options and price in India.
There will be at least two color options for the iQOO 15 in India
The flagship iQOO 15 from the Vivo sub-brand will be offered in India in two color options: Alpha (black) and Legend (white). On the unusual panel, the latter also has the company's new "tri-color pattern logo." The two hues were teased in a recent upgrade to the phone's dedicated Amazon website. The names of the available colors, however, remained unknown. As previously stated, iQOO India chief Nipun Marya just confirmed that the iQOO 15 would launch in India on November 26. The phone's November 27 launch date was already hinted at. It has been revealed that Qualcomm's most recent 3nm octa core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU, together with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 onboard storage, would power the phone in India. Like its Chinese cousin, it is also speculated to have a Q3 Supercomputing gaming processor. Additionally, it will come with OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16.
It will also include a 2K screen with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz in India. Ray Tracing is proven to work with the iQOO 15. Additionally, an 8,000 sq mm single-layer vapour chamber plate will be included to keep it from overheating while playing demanding games.
Although more details about the iQOO 15's Indian version are yet unknown, the features that have been hinted at thus far indicate that it may come with specs comparable to those of the Chinese version, which was shown on October 20. For comparison, the iQOO 15 has a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K (1,440 x 3,168 pixels), a screen sampling rate of 130 Hz, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Additionally, an Adreno 840 GPU is included with it. The 50-megapixel main camera is the focal point of the phone's triple-rear camera arrangement.
The iQOO 15 has a 7,000mAh battery that supports 40W wireless and 100W cable rapid charging. Currently, it is available for purchase in China in the following colorways: Legendary Edition (silver), Track Edition (black), Lingyun (grey), and Wilderness (green), which are translated from Chinese.
