Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco may be planning to launch new smartphones internationally, since four new devices have appeared on Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification website. The listings point to the imminent release of the Xiaomi 17's worldwide edition, as well as new Poco and Redmi models like as the Poco F8 Pro, Poco F8 Ultra, and Redmi Note 15. The reported listings disclose the device model numbers as well as the connection choices. The Xiaomi 17 has already debuted in China.
Xiaomi 17 Global Variant Receives IMDA Certification
The Xiaomi 17 was discovered on Singapore's IMDA certification portal under the model number 25113PN0EG, indicating that a global release is soon. Along with it, the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra were released on the platform, with model numbers 2510DPC44G and 25102PCBE, respectively. All three versions are verified to feature 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC, but no other information is provided in the description. Meanwhile, the IMDA website listed the Redmi Note 15 4G as model number 2510DRA23E, which supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC but lacks 5G.
The emergence of all four devices in the IMDA database clearly implies that their formal global debuts are imminent. Anvin (@ZionsAnvin), an X (previously Twitter) user, discovered the listings first, and Gadgets 360 independently validated them.
The Xiaomi 17 was released in China in September, with a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU. The device supports up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It sports a Leica-tuned back camera array consisting of three 50-megapixel sensors and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 7,000mAh battery and supports rapid charging at 100W wired and 50W wireless.
The Poco F8 Ultra was just discovered on the NBTC website with the product number 25102PCBEG. It is said to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU, a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging, a triple rear camera unit with three 50-megapixel sensors, and an IP69 rating.
The Poco F8 Ultra is expected to be introduced together with the Poco F8 Pro. The Pro model will supersede the Poco F7 Pro. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 is likely to have improvements over last year's Redmi Note 14.
