Asus has updated its ROG Strix, ROG Zephyrus, and TUF gaming laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPUs for Computex 2025 in Taipei. The Taiwanese tech behemoth has integrated Nvidia's mid-range graphics into its ROG Strix G16, ROG Strix G18, ROG Zephyrus G16, ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025), TUF Gaming A18, TUF Gaming A16, TUF Gaming F16, and TUF Gaming A14. All versions in the lineup use either an Intel or an AMD CPU. They can hold up to 90Wh batteries. The ROG Strix G18 and G16 are equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor.
Asus has yet to provide exact pricing for the new Asus ROG Strix G16, G18, ROG Zephyrus G16, G14, and Asus Tuf Gaming A18, A16, A14, and F16 laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics cards. They will be available in Canada in the coming weeks from various retailers such as the Asus shop, Amazon, Best Buy, and Canada Computers.
Asus ROG Strix G18 and ROG Strix G16 specifications
The Asus ROG Strix G16 and G18 are available with Windows 11 Home with either an Intel or AMD CPU combination. It may be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. They can accommodate up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
ROG Strix models have ROG Nebula displays with up to 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 500 nits peak brightness, and full DCI-P3 coverage. The Asus ROG Strix G18 features an 18-inch 2.5K screen, whilst the ROG Strix G16 has a 16-inch OLED 2.5K display. They have innovative Tri-Fan cooling and a 1080-pixel webcam. They use a 90Wh battery.
Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 and ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025) Specifications
The Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 comes with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H or AMD Ryzen AI 7 HX 350 processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X 7467 memory, and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
The ROG Zephyrus, on the other hand, can be outfitted with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU, 32GB of LPDDR5X 8,000MHz memory, and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage. Both versions come equipped with a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU and 8GB GDDR7 graphics RAM.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 use Nebula OLED screens with a peak brightness of 500 nits. The latter features a 16-inch 2.5K display with a refresh rate of 240Hz, and the ROG Zephyrus G14 has a 14-inch 3K display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. They include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 connection. You also receive a 1080p full-HD infrared webcam.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025) features a 73Wh battery, whereas the ROG Zephyrus G16 has a 90Wh battery.
Asus TUF Gaming A18, TUF Gaming A16, TUF Gaming F16, TUF Gaming A14 Specifications
The Asus TUF Gaming A18 can accommodate up to an AMD Ryzen 7 260 CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. It comes with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. It has an 18-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits of peak brightness, and complete coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The laptop features a 90Wh battery.
The Asus TUF Gaming A16 comes with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX CPU, but the TUF Gaming F16 can be customized with up to an Intel Core i7 14650HX. Both versions use the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU.
The TUF Gaming A16 and F16 both boast 16-inch screens with up to 2.5K resolution, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a peak brightness of 400 nits. They include 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
They have military-grade durability and second-generation Arc Flow fans for thermal control. They have 90Wh battery units.
Asus TUF Gaming A14 Specifications
The Asus TUF Gaming A14 comes with Windows 11 Home and has a 14-inch 2.5K IPS display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, a peak brightness of 400 nits, and a response time of 3ms. It also has the next generation Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU, an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU with up to 16GB LPDDR5X onboard RAM, and a 1 TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
The Asus TUF Gaming A14 supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. It is powered by a 73 Wh battery.
