Meghan Markle appears to have taken a veiled jab at the Royal Family.
In a new episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan interviewed Cassandra Morales Thurswell, the founder of viral cosmetics business Kitsch.
with their chat about juggling career and parenthood, Meghan mentioned to Cassandra that she had "a lot of external things happening" with her second pregnancy.
Meghan and Prince Harry married in 2018 and had their first child, Prince Archie, in 2019.
Following their disagreements with the Royal Family, the couple stood down as working royals in 2020 and relocated to California, USA. They welcomed their second child, Princess Lilibet, in 2021. Their relationship with the royals had reached a climax when the Sussexes made startling charges of racism and cruelty against them in an interview with Oprah.
Meghan recalls telling Cassandra, "Before I became a mother, I was going to give a speech with a baby on my hip." I had an entire vision. Then you fast forward; sure, there were a lot of external events going on by the time I had both pregnancies and [both] infants. But that wasn't as I had envisioned it."
The Duchess of Sussex appeared to chuckle as she explained her difficulties, mentioning "a lot of external things happening".
In his biography Spare, Harry revealed more about the schism between him and Prince William, claiming that the Prince of Wales threw him to the ground in a physical confrontation after calling Meghan "rude." He also claimed that his father, King Charles, was a distant dad, calling him the "spare."
