Tom Cruise discussed a biplane stunt from Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.
During his visit on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Cruise talked about how he prepared for one of his most risky feats yet.
The Mission: Impossible star stated, "I remember seeing, like, Black and White footage of the very early days of Wingwalk, and I just thought, I'd love to do that."
He went on to say that, along with director Christopher McQuarrie, he started preparing for the high-risk aerial scenario, learning to fly the plane and finding out how to produce zero gravity moments between the wings.
When asked about his experience, Cruise stated, "I didn't realize, like, that much force of air, I can't breathe." So I had to figure out how you're handling the wind and breathing down here like this."
Notably, behind-the-scenes footage on the broadcast revealed Cruise and his team practicing complicated maneuvers including as rolls, loops, and hammerheads.
Tom Cruise said Jimmy Fallon, "Have you ever lifted a weight so heavy that you couldn't raise it again? That's how we feel after a few minutes on this wing.
It is worth noting that Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is set to be released in the UK on May 21, 2025.
