Meghan Markle confesses that parenthood is more different than she had planned.
In the latest episode of Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex discusses her lifelong ambition to become a mother.
Speaking with Kitsch creator Cassandra Thurswell, Meghan stated that she quickly realized she would need home assistance to help her navigate the trip.
The Duchess said: "I'll say, for me - especially when they're infant babies - I've always wanted to be a mother before I became one.
"I was like, 'Oh my goodness, I'm going to deliver a speech with a baby on my hip' - you fast forward - granted, I had a lot of external things going on by the time I had both pregnancies and infants.
"But it was not the way I envisioned it."
Meghan has said that she is not embarrassed to get her hands 'dirty' at work.
In an earlier episode of her podcast, she advised Heather Hasson, the creator of FIGS, that "it can get messy & the best founders are not afraid to get their hands dirty."
"And I do not mean to play nasty. When it's 'clean up on aisle five' time, you're the first one there with a mop."
