Meghan Markle has reached a significant milestone, just one day after celebrating her seventh wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex's wedding post on the social media network helped her gain three million followers.
The former US actress achieved the milestone nearly five months after returning to Instagram.
Meghan, who lives in California with her husband and two children, acquired thousands of followers on the network within hours of her first post in January 2025.
She garnered one million followers in a matter of days after posting about her dog's death, her impending Netflix program, the couple's efforts to help those devastated by the Los Angeles wildfires, and Harry's Invictus Games.
Meghan Markle later joined Prince Harry to Canada for the Invictus Games before returning to California alone to be with the couple's children.
The Duchess of Sussex also used her Instagram account to publish many images from Canada with her husband throughout the games, and her Valentine's Day post helped her gain 2 million Instagram followers.
She is followed by various American celebrities, including Blake Lively, Oprah Winfrey, Zoe Saldana, Lauren Sanchez, Marin Morris, and others.
