Kate Middleton is being encouraged to cut relations with her brother-in-law, Prince Harry.
Following his recent statements regarding the Royal Family, Prince William allegedly instructed Kate not to phone his estranged brother.
Harry made the statements during an interview with the BBC after losing his High Court appeal against the Home Office.
In the open interview, the Duke of Sussex described the verdict as a "establishment stitch-up" and said that his father, King Charles, might help his cause by stepping aside and allowing authorities to perform their jobs.
According to a source, Harry's statements have infuriated Prince William.
"William is furious that Harry is speaking out again and doing interviews; he believes this isn't the end of it," the mole told Radar Online.
"He's made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them," said the couple.
"William dislikes having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees it as necessary to protect everyone." "What he's most concerned about is that anything Kate says to Harry will be twisted or resurface later, especially if there is another book or if Meghan decides to tell her own side of the story," they said.
Despite her husband's fears, Kate believes that shutting off Harry is the wrong decision, and that the Royal Family has handled the problem incorrectly.
"Kate is furious at Harry, but she is also unhappy that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate so dramatically. "It's heartbreaking for her to see the family so publicly divided," the source stated.
When Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle revealed in 2020 that they would be leaving their roles as working royals, the nation was astonished. The couple subsequently relocated to California, where they currently reside with their children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, three.
Kate Middleton, for her part, "is doing everything she can because she knows the family can't take any more tragedies or scandals."
