Tom Cruise recently raved over Michael B. Jordan.
In an interview with PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning on Sunday, the A-list celebrity lauded the young actor.
The 62-year-old started the conversation by stating it was "wonderful" to spend time with actor Michael B. Jordan at Mission: Impossible's May 15 premiere in London.
"Oh listen, it's wonderful to see him," Tom said, nodding to the young star and adding, "Really, he's enormously talented."
"And what he and [Ryan] Coogler do together... he's a great actor," he stated about Sinners director Ryan Coogler's collaboration with Michael.
Ryan and Michael have previously worked together on films such as Black Panther, Creed, and Fruitvale Station.
"He is loyal to his brand. I genuinely admire him. Respect Coogler; I adored that picture. I enjoy the films that they create. It's fantastic; you know, huge cinema."
"I like what they do, and I enjoy seeing others succeed in life. That is something I work extremely hard at — doing everything I can to help individuals and see them succeed," he concluded.
Tom continued by saying, "Filmmakers and actors know that my door is always open, so I'm extremely thrilled about what they're doing, and it's always encouraging. It moves back and forth."
